A caramel apple mimosa is the drink to make for fall brunches. A boozy way to enjoy one of the best treats of the Fall season, these caramel apple mimosas are perfect to serve anytime you want your cold weather brunches to feel extra special.
I know everyone is all pumpkin spice everything, but I’m gonna tell you a little secret. Pumpkin spice needs to move over sometimes because apple cider is delicious and gets so overshadowed.
If you don’t agree, I’m willing to bet that these caramel apple mimosas will convince you!
And if that doesn’t work, we can still be friends but we’re going to have to agree to disagree forever.
What is a caramel apple mimosa?
Traditional mimosas are a combination of orange juice and champagne, a brunch classic.
These caramel apple mimosas replace the orange juice with apple cider and add a shot of caramel flavored vodka to the mix for an unforgettable brunch cocktail.
It would be perfect to sip on one of these bubbly drinks on any fall special occasion.
The Easiest Fall Brunch Drink! How to Make a Caramel Apple Mimosa
Making these easy autumn brunch drinks is a snap. Start by rimming a glass with caramel sauce. Yes, the same kind of caramel that you would use to top ice cream with.
To rim a glass with caramel, just pour some caramel into a small dish or bowl. Then dunk the top of the glass in, rolling the glass around so the rim gets coated.
The caramel will drip down the glass a bit and that’s ok! It paints a really pretty picture for presentation purposes.
After you have rimmed the glasses with caramel sauce, add an ounce or one shot of caramel flavored vodka to each glass. Then add an ounce of apple cider to each glass.
Now you’re ready to top each glass with champagne. I like to use a Brut or Prosecco, but you can easily use whatever white bubbly you’d like instead.
I would serve caramel apple mimosas at so many fall occasions and definitely any occasion you would serve a traditional mimosa at like a girls morning, a bridal shower, or brunch.
These caramel apple mimosas would also be a fun drink to pass at a fall cocktail party.
You could serve them with a wide variety of food from cheese and crackers and appetizers to pretty much any brunch dish.
If you are going to serve them at a cocktail party, you could put out a selection of fall cocktails. They’d be nice in a cocktail spread with these other fall drinks:
