Bacon is everything, right? We’re making keto fat bombs and not just any fat bombs. We’re making BACON fat bombs. With bacon. Rolled in bacon. With bacon mixed in. Because bacon makes everything better. If you are low carb, you already love your fat bombs. These are more than a snack, more than a necessity – they are an indulgence!

These fat bombs are easy to make with ingredients you probably have in your fridge if you are living a low carb lifestyle. Fat bombs are a great way to supplement a keto diet to keep your macros in sync and keep the cravings at bay. These bacon fat bombs are a decent mix of protein and fat to manage your hunger throughout the day

How do you make fat bombs?

I mix the ingredients the ingredients with a spoon or spatula, but you could use a hand mixer too. I usually put the mixture in a ball, decide how many I want to get out of it and break the mixture into that many parts. Then it’s easy to roll the mixture into balls.

I kept a good amount of crushed bacon to roll my fat bombs in, making them so much more baconny – is that a word? Well it is now!

How many fat bombs can you eat?

Take a bite and see if you can only eat just one! These are 140 calories, and with this size ball, they have 7 grams of protein / 12 grams of fat. Once you figure out your macros, make sure you indulge accordingly. Yes, they are great as fat bombs, but I’ve taken them for lunch with sliced cucumbers or as the filling in ham rollups.

Bacon Fat Bomb

Yield: 15


  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped bacon
  • 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 2 Tbs sour cream


Mix all ingredients, saving 1/2 cup chopped bacon.. Split the mixture into 15 equal portions. Roll those into individual balls and roll those balls in the remaining bacon. Refrigerate until served.
